Brewed to celebrate Siren’s first anniversary. The 2013 vintage is the first in a series that will feature a different blended barrel-aged barley wine each year. Limited to a single release per year, this beer is a truly special offering that can be cellared and enjoyed well into the future.

The nose is soft, creamy, wood, toffee, vanilla, pear, apple, candied fruit, brown bread, light spice, raisin, sultana and a touch of marshmallow. The taste is bitter-sweet, toffee,varnish, pine, leather, raisin, fig, sultana, wood, light warming alcohol and citrus peel. Full body, fine carbonation and soft mouth-feel. Smooth and very balanced indeed. Drinks dangerously well for this abv.
